Facility Use

Building and Facility Use

State law regulates the use of school facilities and fields by outside community groups.  The Mt. Sinai School District is now utilizing an online building facility use system, ML Schedules.  Please read the Facilities Use Requirements and the Insurance Requirements before getting started.
 
To request a space, please start by creating an account in the ML Schedules system for your group.  You will need to upload your insurance certificate listing the Mt. Sinai School District as Additionally Insured.  Once your group is approved, you can then begin to request space.

Register for an Account

All facility use requests are completed online. The first step needed to make an online facility use request is to create a user account. You can do so by clicking the Register icon below. Be sure to complete all information fields and then click the submit button. If your registration was successful you will receive an e-mail confirmation. The video and Quick Start Guide below will provide additional information.

Log-in and Reserve

Once your account is created you can start making facility reservations. Click the Log in icon below. The video and Quick Start Guide below will further explain the reservation process.

USER LEVELS AND FEES SCHEDULES

Level 1 All school based organizations and non-profit organizations chartered for the purpose of and/or recognized by the Board of Education or SBO chattered organization by BOE reolution or group or *organization sponsored by SBO as and upon approval of the Superintendent and/or BOE (PTO, FOA, Boosters,Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts)  No Fee No Fee
Level 2 Infant Jesus, NS Colts, MS Lacrosse, MS Soccer, Colt Cheerleaders, Men's BB. At the discretion and approval of BOE No Fee

Inside – $50/hr

(Non-profit youth sport organizations exempt from fee during weekdays)


Outside – $50/hr (games only) and recognition of donation to District

Level 3 Community Based Non-profit groups and profit organizations, including all who charge admission $25 $50/hr for all usage plus all applicable per day usage fees (See below)
Level 4 Profit making organziation, approved by the Superintendent and/or BOE, at their discretion benefiting the Mt. Sinai community and meeting the criteria of Education Law Section 414 $25 To Be Determined
