Beginning in the 2021-22 school year, Mt. Sinai rolled out it's 1:1 device initiative.  This initiative provides a computing device to every student in grades 1-12 to ensure access to technology and digital resources for all of our students.

For your child to receive a device we ask that you please read the 1:1 Device Parent and Student Agreement Information.  Once you have read and reviewed the Parent and Student Agreement documentation, you must agree to the terms and conditions by filling out the appropriate Google form:

LAPTOP INSURANCE

Mount Sinai is pleased to offer you a protection plan for your child’s Chromebook or laptop. The annual fee is $34 for a Chromebook and $64 for a laptop. This program is being offered through the Worth Avenue Group Insurance Company. Please see the attached flyer for insurance coverage details. 

Optional student laptop insurance coverage: 

• Enrollment period is August 1st through September 30, 2024. Parents and guardians will not be able to purchase insurance after September 30, 2024.
• Insurance coverage is effective from September 1, 2024 through August 31, 2025. 
• Parents and guardians sign up and pay directly to the Worth Avenue Group at the following link: https://gpo.worthavegroup.com/gpo/mtsinaisd. 

The cost is $34 per year for Chromebooks and $64 per year for laptops payable by credit card or PayPal. 

NO INSURANCE coverage: 

• If laptop insurance is not purchased, parents and guardians are responsible for the full cost of all repairs. 

LAPTOP REPAIR PROCESS: 

• Insured and uninsured laptop repairs are processed through the building technicians. 

Any outstanding invoices for laptop repairs during 2023-24 are not included in the 2024-25 optional laptop insurance coverage fee and should be submitted to the Mt. Sinai School District Central Office.
